The deposit source-of-funds questionnaire
Some deposits require a short declaration before the funds are released.
Certain deposits are flagged for a declaration about where the funds came from. This is an anti-money-laundering requirement. Until you complete it, that deposit stays held.
What you are asked
- Whether the funds came from your own wallet or from a third party
- If a third party — whether they are an individual or a company, and their name
- The company name and country, where applicable
- Whether the funds came from another exchange or virtual asset service provider, and which one
- A declaration that what you have entered is true
Completing it
- Open Deposit History and select the flagged deposit.
- Fill in the questionnaire on the transaction detail page.
- Submit. The deposit is released once the declaration is accepted.
Answer accurately. A declaration that does not match the transaction can hold the deposit up further and
may trigger a review of your account.
