Choosing the right network
The single most common cause of lost deposits, and how to avoid it.
Most coins exist on more than one blockchain network. USDT, for example, can be sent over several. The network you pick on Cryolynx must be the same network the sending wallet or exchange uses.
How to get it right
- Open the withdrawal screen on the platform you are sending from and look at which networks it offers for that coin.
- On Cryolynx, generate the deposit address for that same network.
- Compare the two network names before you confirm anything.
- Send a small test amount on any address you have not used before.
If the networks do not match, the funds will not arrive and in most cases cannot be
recovered — by us or by anyone else. There is no support process that reverses a cross-network send.
Checking takes ten seconds.
Also check the coin itself
A deposit address is issued for one specific coin. Sending a different coin to it, even on the same network, is the same class of mistake and carries the same risk.
