How to deposit crypto
Generate a deposit address for a coin and network, then send to it from your other wallet.
You fund your Cryolynx account by sending crypto from an outside wallet or exchange to a deposit address we generate for you. Each coin has its own address, and most coins have more than one network to choose from.
- Open your Spot Wallet.
- Find the coin you are depositing and choose Deposit.
- Select the network. It must match the network you are sending on — see choosing the right network.
- Copy the address shown, or scan its QR code from the sending wallet.
- If a memo or tag is displayed, include it in the send. See address tags and memos.
- Send. Track progress under Deposit History.
Blockchain transfers are final. Sending the wrong coin, using the wrong network, or
omitting a required memo can make funds unrecoverable. If you are depositing to a new address for the
first time, send a small test amount and wait for it to arrive before sending the rest.
How long it takes
Your deposit appears once the network has confirmed it. That depends entirely on the blockchain and how busy it is — some networks confirm in seconds, others take considerably longer. See deposit history and confirmations.
