Making your first trade
The difference between Convert and the Exchange, and which to start with.
There are two ways to trade on Cryolynx. Both draw on the same spot balance.
Convert — the simple option
Convert swaps one coin directly for another. You pick what you are giving and what you want, see a firm quote, and accept it. No order book, no order types, no partial fills. This is the easiest place to start. See how Convert works.
Exchange — full control
The Exchange is a spot order book. You choose a trading pair, an order type (Limit, Market, Stop Limit or Stop Market), a price and an amount. You can set a price and wait for the market to reach it. See spot trading basics and order types explained.
Whichever you use, check trading fees first so you know what
the trade costs.
