How to verify your identity
Complete verification from your profile page with an ID document and a selfie.
Verification runs inside your profile page and usually takes a few minutes to submit.
Before you start
- Have your identity document to hand — see accepted documents.
- Be somewhere well lit. Most failures are photo quality, not identity problems.
- Use a device with a camera. A phone is usually easiest.
Steps
- Sign in and go to your profile.
- Start verification from the prompt on that page.
- Confirm your personal details. They must match your document exactly.
- Photograph your identity document, front and back where required.
- Complete the liveness check — a short face scan that confirms you are the document holder and are physically present.
- Submit, then wait for the result.
What happens next
Your status moves to under review while the checks run. See what "under review" means. When it passes you will be asked to sign in again — that is expected, and explained here.
Verify on a stable connection and do not close the window mid-way. If the session drops, reopen your
profile and start again.
