Why your quote expired
The rate was held for a short window and the window closed.
A Convert quote is a firm price held for a few seconds. Crypto prices move continuously, so we can only guarantee a rate briefly. If you do not accept within that window it expires.
What to do
Request a new quote. The new rate reflects the market now — it may be better or worse than the one you missed.
Getting through it in time
- Decide the amount before requesting the quote, rather than during it.
- Have the numbers ready to check, and accept promptly.
- On a slow connection, expect to need a second attempt.
An expired quote costs you nothing. No trade happened and no balance changed.
