Buying a voucher
Create a crypto gift voucher someone else can redeem.
A voucher packages an amount of crypto into a code that someone else can redeem into their own account.
- Open Rewards and go to Buy a Voucher.
- Choose the token and the amount.
- Confirm. The amount is taken from your spot balance.
- You are given a voucher code and a reference number. Save both before leaving the page.
The code is the value. Anyone holding it can redeem it — there is nothing tying it to a
named recipient. Send it through a channel you trust, never in a public post or an open group, and treat
losing it as losing the funds.
Keeping the reference number
The reference number lets you check the voucher's status later — including whether it has been redeemed. Keep it separately from the code.
