Cancelling an order
Cancel anything that has not yet filled, and free up the funds it reserved.
- Open the Exchange.
- Go to Open Orders.
- Cancel the order you no longer want.
The funds it was holding return to your spendable spot balance straight away.
Orders tagged TP/SL are a group. Cancelling any one of them cancels the whole group — the
limit order and its take-profit and stop-loss. See
Take Profit and Stop Loss.
An executed order cannot be cancelled. Once a trade has filled it is done — there is no
undo, and support cannot reverse it. If an order filled partially, cancelling removes only the unfilled
remainder; the part that traded stands.
If cancelling fails
Almost always because the order filled in the moment between you looking and you clicking. Check Closed Orders — you will usually find it there, executed.
